A prominent football agent was reportedly arrested on suspicion of rape.
The figure is accused of raping and causing grievous bodily harm to a woman in Knightsbridge, central London, eight years ago.
He has represented a range of Premier League stars and was arrested after disembarking a flight from the USA to Heathrow last Saturday, The Mirror writes.
The agent was taken to a police station nearby, interviewed, and released on bail pending further enquires.
Allegations were initially brought to the police in 2024.
Officers also seized electronic devices at a London address in connection with the case.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told the Mirror: ‘On Saturday, 29 March, at approximately 10:52hrs, a man was arrested when his flight landed at Heathrow Airport. He was arrested on suspicion of rape and causing grievous bodily harm.
‘He has been released on bail. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.’
