Leipzig close to striking extension deal with Bitshiabu

Leipzig are on the verge of extending the Frenchman’s deal – his signature is pending but the deal is imminent.

RB Leipzig are nearing an extension with El-Chadaille Bitshiabu, per the latest report from Sky Germany.

It is believed that the player and the Saxony club are in promising and advanced communication.

Die Roten Bullen see the young French defender as a crucial cog in their backline going forward.

Furthermore,  extending the 20-year-old’s deal would also guarantee a strong financial position should future offers come in.

Bitshiabu made a total of 21 Bundesliga appearances for Leipzig this season in which he showed great promise.
