Leipzig join Frankfurt in the pursuit of Bisseck – BILD

The German international defender has caught the eye of yet another big Bundesliga outfit.

It was previously noted that Eintracht Frankfurt want Inter Milan’s Yann Aurel Bisseck, but another Bundesliga club has since joined the race.

As Sport BILD reports, a new rival to the Hessen club in the form of RB Leipzig is now interested in the Cologne native. 

Bisseck himself wants to leave last season’s Champions League runners-up to gain match practice with an eye on next year’s World Cup. 

The Nerazzurri are reportedly demanding €30million for the right-footed centre-half who is just 24-years-old. 

In addition to the two Bundesliga clubs, AS Monaco is also eager to make a move, but they will likely be unable to afford the requested fee.

Bisseck’s contract at San Siro runs until 2029, but it seems increasingly unlikely that he will fulfill it.

The German only played 3 first team games for 1.FC Köln before loan spells at Holstein Kiel, Roda JC and Aarhus – he joined Inter in 2023.
