Benjamin Šeško might not be the only striker to leave RB Leipzig this summer as the club is open its doors to listening to offers for Loïs Openda.
Compared to his stellar debut season in Germany, Belgian striker Loïs Openda had a difficult time this campaign. Especially after the turn of the year, Openda struggled to convert chances, which led him to be dropped from the starting lineup.
However, Leipzig still hope to secure the bag with a potential summer departure. RMC Sport’s Sacha Tavolieri reports that the club is willing to accept a €60m transfer fee. The player is also reportedly interested in a move after two years in Germany.
Openda scored 41 goals in 90 appearances for RB Leipzig. He scored more than 20 goals in consecutive Ligue 1 and Bundesliga seasons before falling short of reaching double-digits this term.
