Another exciting transfer for Leverkusen: after having already secured the services of talent Farid Alfa-Ruprecht from Manchester City, die Werkself have also signed the 17-year-old Ndjicoura Bomba from Mali.

As Leverkusen have announced on their website, Bomba will transfer to the Bundesliga runners-up as soon as he reaches the age of majority in March 2026.

The centre-forward is currently still playing for Club Sportif de Bamako in his home country of Mali.

As Bayer 04 explained, Bomba attracted attention at the U17 Africa Cup of Nations in April. There, he contributed three goals and two assists in six games on Mali’s way to the final.

According to reports, the transfer fee for the talented player is €1.5 million. Bayer have already signed another talented player from Mali in Issa Traoré. In total, five U20 players have been signed during this transfer window.
