Leverkusen in advanced talks with Sevilla’s Loïc Badé

New coach Erik ten Hag wants another centre-back ahead of the start of the new Bundesliga season – Sevilla’s Loïc Badé seems to be transfer target number 1.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Leverkusen are in advanced talks with Sevilla centre-back Loïc Badé.

New coach Erik ten Hag is very keen on bringing in another defender ahead of the start of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season.

Leverkusen have lost captain Jonathan Tah, Jeremie Frimpong, Mario Hermoso and Nordi Mukiele in this transfer window and need reinforcements for the defense. 

Badé is said to be keen on joining die Werkself and discussions over a transfer worth €25 million are proceeding well.

The 25-year-old French international (1 game for France), has played 93 games for Sevilla, in which he scored 3 goals and assisted a further 2.
