A documentary showcasing Jurgen Klopp’s final season as Liverpool manager is still yet to be bought by a major streaming platform.

Talks are still taking place over who will show the eight-episode series, which is due to be released in August when the new Premier League season begins.

The Reds were hoping to receive an eight-figure sum for the documentary with Disney+ believed to be the likely destination but no deal has materialised as of yet.

Klopp’s team were flying high when the news of the show broke in January with club harboring dreams of a quadruple.

However, the fairytale ending hasn’t materialised with the Reds seeing a downturn in their fortunes after winning the Carabao Cup in February.

The Merseyside outfit were knocked out of the FA Cup by rivals Man United before being beaten in the Europa League by Atalanta and falling away in the title race run-in.

Filming for the series, which is yet to have a title, began in December when Klopp was yet to make a decision over whether he woukld be departing.

It is being produced by Lorton Entetianment, who are owned by the Shephered family, Juluan Bird and Arthur Landon.

It will be somewhat different to the behind-the-scenes documentaries we have seen in recent years with more of a fcous on lifestyle, dyay-to-day life and the culture of the club.

A highlight of the seres is said to be the full access that the camera crew had to Liverpool’s dressing room celebrations following their Carabao Cup final win over Chelsea.
