A major hint indicating Jurgen Klopp‘s departure from Liverpool was seen days before the club’s official announcement.
Jurgen Klopp broke the news that he will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season on Friday in a shock announcement.
Klopp’s announcement will culminate his nine-year tenure with the club. Despite having won every major trophy available to Liverpool, including a Champions League and the club’s first Premier League title in 30 years, Klopp admitted he was ‘running out of energy’.
However, a major hint missed by fans has resurfaced since the German boss announced his departure from the club.

FSG was reportedly exploring options for the documentary project, and Klopp was supportive of the plans.
Klopp’s support for the documentary plans, in hindsight, raised suspicions amongst fans – especially considering his previous aversion to such projects.
In 2018, the club declined an offer from Amazon to participate in its All Or Nothing series, a decision attributed to Klopp by Bloomberg.
Furthermore, in a 2019 press conference, Klopp stated, ‘If [the club] would put out a video with me in a situation like that, I would leave the club. That’s the truth, and that’s all I have to say about that.’
Klopp’s endorsement of the documentary plans hinted that he might not be involved in the process.
The boss confirmed, ‘I told the club already in November,’ emphasising that he loves every aspect of the club, city, supporters, team, and staff.
‘I can understand that it’s a shock for a lot of people in this moment when you hear it for the first time, but obviously I can explain it – or at least try to explain it.
Klopp has insisted he will not reverse his decision like Sir Alex Ferguson did in 2002

‘I love absolutely everything about this club, I love everything about the city, I love everything about our supporters, I love the team, I love the staff. I love everything. But that I still take this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take.
‘It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I will have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again.
