The supposed accreditation pass Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis wore at Craven Cottage was allegedly found in a bush outside Fulham’s ground.
Forest were hammered 5-0 by the Cottagers on Wednesday evening thanks to braces from Alex Iwobi and Raul Jimenez, while Tom Cairney also netted.
The result left Forest boss Steve Cooper facing the sack after a fourth consecutive defeat which means his side are just six points clear of the relegation zone.
And, according to one Fulham fan on social media, Greek businessman Marinakis could barely contain his anger after their defeat.
Sharing a photo of what seems to be Marinakis’ official lanyard from the match, they posted on X, formerly Twitter: ‘Found this thrown on a bush in someone’s front garden just outside Craven Cottage… someone clearly left in a strop…’

Marinakis – who also owns Olympiacos – was in attendance to watch his side’s dismal display before leaving the match early.
Mail Sport has contacted Nottingham Forest for comment in regards to the social media post.
It has been a tough month for the 56-year-old with Olympiacos crashing out of the Europa League group stage, while they also lie fourth in the Greek Superleague.
Mail Sport understands Marinakis – who has not spoken to Cooper since the defeat – is now poised to start the hunt for his replacement, with former Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui one of the coaches he admires.
Another is the manager who looks set to have ended the Cooper era — Fulham’s Marco Silva, who worked under Marinakis at Olympiacos.
The East Midlands outfit have just 13 points in 15 league games and despite a bright start to the season, they have won one of their past 11 matches.
Forest return to action on Saturday with a trip to Wolves, who are five points clear of them after beating Burnley 1-0 on Tuesday.
