Rashford to West Ham on loan?

West Ham United have made an approach to sign Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford on loan this winter, according to The Telegraph.

The England international has been deemed surplus to requirements under manager Ruben Amorim. He has not played in the last seven games.

The 27-year-old is free to pursue a new challenge, but there are no clubs willing to pay a transfer fee for a permanent deal at the moment.

The Hammers have now joined the pursuit of the United graduate and they have made an enquiry over a possible loan move to east London.

Rashford could be reluctant to consider the Hammers. He has his sights on playing Champions League football in the back end of the season.

AC Milan seemed the perfect fit for the attacker earlier this month, but they are now focused on landing Kyle Walker from Manchester City instead.

With just one non-EU spot left in the Milan squad, Rashford looks poised to miss out on joining them during the ongoing transfer window.
