A report from Sport Bild outlines the options Bayern Munich have to make Nicolas Jackson’s loan from Chelsea permanent.

Just before the summer transfer window closed, Bayern Munich completed the loan signing of Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea.
It has since been revealed that the 24-year-old must play more than 45 minutes in at least 40 games for Bayern’s €65 million purchase obligation to take effect – something that looks very unlikely, especially as he is expected to represent Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations in January.
Still, Jackson could remain at Bayern if his loan spell goes well. According to Sport Bild, Bayern and the striker have already negotiated a five-year deal that – one way or another –could come into effect if both parties are happy to continue working together.
The report also claims that, in addition to the purchase obligation, Bayern hold a €65 million purchase option that expires in mid-May.
It is not out of the question that the German champions may try to negotiate the price further, particularly since Jackson’s agent has publicly stated that his client has no plans to return to Chelsea.
