Luis Díaz scored twice before being sent off for a sliding tackle on Achraf Hakimi, as Bayern Munich edged Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 in Tuesday’s Champions League clash at the Parc des Princes.
On Wednesday, the Colombian international took to Instagram to reflect on the dramatic night – and to send his best wishes to Hakimi, who had to come off with an ankle injury.
“It was a night full of emotions. Football always reminds us that in 90 minutes, anything can happen – the best and the worst,” Diaz wrote, adding:
“I was sad not to finish the match with my teammates, but proud of their incredible effort.
“Wishing Hakimi a quick return to the pitch.”
