Mainz confirm season-ending injury for Kohr

Dominik Kohr has been ruled out for the season.

Mainz have been dealt an injury blow with Dominik Kohr ruled out for the remainder of the season following the club’s 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend.

The club confirmed that the experienced defensive player sustained a medial ligament injury in his left knee during the match.

Mainz are hopeful Kohr will return in time for the start of pre-season training ahead of the 2025/26 season in early July.

The 30-year-old has been a mainstay in Bo Henriksen’s side this season, making a total of 30 appearances.
