Cremonese have already secured Marco Silvestri, Giuseppe Pezzella and Alberto Grassi, as anticipated, so their next task is to lock down Youssef Maleh.

Back on July 8, we had reported that the Seahorses were going after Empoli pair Pezzella and Grassi.

Well, both those transfers were made official on July 25 and 19 respectively.

Goalkeeper Silvestri was a free agent and he put pen to paper today on the contract with Cremonese, having played last season for Sampdoria and Empoli.

Now that all those reported moves have come true, we prepare for the final step in that process.

Maleh returned to Lecce after his loan experience at Empoli and is eager to remain in Serie A.

The Morocco international evaluated other opportunities, but is now ready to accept the proposal from Cremonese.

His previous clubs include Cesena, Ravenna, Venezia and Fiorentina, allowing him to amass 108 Serie A appearances and 57 in Serie B.
