Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that Donyell Malen has joined Aston Villa.

Donyell Malen has officially left Borussia Dortmund to sign for Aston Villa on a permanent basis.
The Black and Yellows announced the Dutchman’s departure on Tuesday evening.
“We would like to thank Donyell for three and a half years in black and yellow,” said Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
“Even if not all sporting expectations were ultimately fulfilled on both sides, we look back on wonderful moments, important goals and believe that we have now found a good solution for everyone. Donny, all the best to you and your family for the future.”
Malen joined BVB from PSV Eindhoven in July 2021.
Over the past three and a half years, the Dutchman played 132 games for Dortmund, scoring 39 goals and providing 20 assists.
