Manchester United‘s supporters made their feelings known towards their US owners with Avram Glazer in the stands for Friday’s Premier League opener against Fulham.
Chants of ‘we want Glazers out’ were chanted from the Stretford End with Avram Glazer sat in the directors’ box behind Sir Dave Brailsford and Omar Berrada.
Co-chairman Avram is a member of the Glazer family, who hold a majority ownership stake in the club.
The chants were made in the 19th minute, representing their 19-year ownership.
The Glazers have been criticised for burdening the club and their general management.
Protests against them have become a more regular feature as results on the pitch have declined.
