Alejandro Garnacho rewarded a woman who recently found his dogs with a tour of Manchester United‘s training ground and matchday tickets.
Red Devils fan Leah Smith, 26, spotted the famous canines on the loose while driving near Garnacho’s mansion earlier this year.
She managed to corral Freko and Burrows into her car and drove to United’s Carrington training ground, having recognised them from Garnacho’s social media posts.
Smith was then invited to watch a first team training session before she was more handsomely rewarded by Garnacho and his partner Eva Garcia.
‘Once they confirmed the dogs belonged to Garna, they politely asked if I could take them back to his home, which I did,’ she told The Sun. ‘His partner, Eva, was waiting and was very grateful.’
Smith reportedly received a phone call from the grateful couple who also gave her tickets in the players’ family area at Old Trafford for the United’s dramatic win over Southampton last month.
Alejandro Garnacho regularly includes his dogs Freko and Burrows in social media posts

Garnacho and his partner Eva Garcia reportedly called Smith to thank her and invite her to United’s match against Southampton last month

The winger could be set to leave Old Trafford this summer, with the club needing to sell in order to buy players more suited to Ruben Amorim’s style
She added: ‘My children will never forget this day. Thank you Garna & Eva’
Garnacho has been praised on social media for his generous gesture, which has provided some respite from the criticism he has received following United’s loss to Tottenham on Sunday.
The winger missed a few presentable chances in north London as Ruben Amorim’s side slumped to their eighth league defeat under the Portuguese boss.
The 20-year-old could be entering into his final months as a United player, with the club expected to sell players to buy in the summer as financial problems continue to hang over Old Trafford.
United’s financial woes left them vulnerable to offers for their prize assets Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo because they are worth 100 per cent profit under PSR rules, with both players attracting strong interest from Chelsea and Garnacho from Napoli as well.
Both academy products could be targets again in the summer as Amorim admitted that he will need to sacrifice some players to bring in the ones he wants.
