Manchester United target Viktor Gyokeres has reportedly signalled his desire to leave Sporting Lisbon this summer.
Gyokeres has been heavily linked with a move to the Red Devils, with the prospect of a move intensifying after his former boss Ruben Amorim took charge at Old Trafford.
The Swedish forward had reportedly been convinced to stay at the Portuguese club last season by Amorim, with the aim of securing back-to-back league titles.
Portuguese outlet Record state Gyokeres has expressed a desire to leave this summer.
The newspaper led coverage of his desire with the headline ‘Exit in glory’, expressing his aim to fulfilling the objective of clinching the another domestic title.
Sporting are currently locked in a tightly contested title race, with the club three points ahead of rivals Benfica, who have played one game less.

Gyokeres reportedly wants to fulfil a pledge to help Sporting retain their Portuguese title
Porto remain in touching distance at the top, as they trail Sporting by six points.
Gyokeres has scored 37 goals in 39 matches in all competitions for Sporting this season, including netting 25 times in 23 league matches.
The 26-year-old scored a brace in a 3-1 win over Estoril Praia on Monday to help Sporting end a run of three successive draws in the league.
His goals have seen him move three goals away from entering Sporting’s top 20 goalscorers in the club’s history, despite having only joined the club in the summer of 2023.
Gyokeres has scored a staggering 80 goals in 89 appearances for the club since joining from Championship side Coventry in a £20m move.
Record state that Man United are among the clubs maintaining an interest in the Swedish international.
The outlet adds that the Red Devils could face competition from fellow Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea.

Barcelona, Bayern Munich and PSG have also been credited with an interest in the forward.
Gyokeres has an £85million release clause in his Sporting contract, but reports earlier this year claimed Sporting may allow the forward to leave for around £68.5million.
Reports earlier this week suggested Man United’s likely failure to qualify for the Champions League could dent their chances of convincing the prolific striker to join.
The Red Devils have since been linked with in-form Crystal Palace striker Jean-Phillippe Mateta.
