Manchester United have reportedly turned their attention to Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri, as their first-choice target Serhou Guirassy is set on a move elsewhere in the winter window.
Erik Ten Hag‘s side have not enjoyed good form in the English top-flight this season so far, having lost seven of their opening 17 league matches.
The Red Devils are eager to bolster Erik ten Hag’s squad in January, and are keen on Stuttgart’s Guirassy, but the 27-year-old is contemplating a move to rival team Tottenham, according to The Sun.
The report adds that Guirassy is in favour of a move to the capital to link up with Ange Postecoglou‘s Spurs, rather than joining United.
Hindered by injuries and underwhelming signings, including £72 million summer acquisition Rasmus Hojlund, who is yet to score domestically, United are exploring potential reinforcements to their frontline.

En-Nesyri impressed at the World Cup and has scored five times this season for Sevilla
Scouts had been closely monitoring Bundesliga standout Guirassy, who has already scored 17 goals in Germany this season.
However, Ten Hag has redirected attention to Sevilla and Morocco forward En-Nesyri dispatching scouts to observe him in action, particularly in their LaLiga clash against Atletico Madrid.
En-Nesyri, the focal point of Sevilla’s attack since January 2020, played a pivotal role in securing two Europa League titles.
Despite Sevilla’s challenging season – they are currently 14th in the table – En-Nesyri has been a standout performer, contributing eight goals and four assists this term alone.
Facing financial struggles and already out of the Champions League, Sevilla are considering selling En-Nesyri, whose contract runs until June 2025.
The potential fee is estimated to be around £16 million, as the club aims to mitigate expenses amid coaching changes and wage payments.
En-Nesyri’s impressive performances, including a notable goal against Portugal in the World Cup quarter-finals last year, have peaked the interest of Ten Hag.
