Manchester United are already in contact with Girona over the prospect of landing left-back Miguel Gutierrez.
The Red Devils are aiming to bolster the left wing-back department under the recommendation of manager Ruben Amorim.
The club are looking at multiple options, but Teamtalk claim that United have made contact with Girona regarding Gutierrez.
The Spaniard was brilliant for the La Liga outfit in the last campaign as they qualified for the Champions League against the odds.
Gutierrez has carried over his good form this term. He has managed five goal contributions from 22 appearances in all competitions.
The 23-year-old has his sights on leaving the club in the summer and United have made contact with Girona to negotiate terms.
It remains to be seen whether United will get their hands on his services.
Real Madrid have a buy-back clause while Girona could deny him a move to United as they are the sister club of Manchester City.
A new signing for the left wing-back department is expected to coincide with the departure of the injury-prone Luke Shaw.
