Manchester United and Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres could be sold for around £55 million during the summer transfer window, as per Fabrizio Romano.
The Portugal international has been in sensational form for Sporting Lisbon over the last two years. He has netted a stunning 53 goals in all competitions this term.
The 26-year-old has a release clause worth £84 million in his current deal, but there is a gentleman’s agreement with Sporting to sell him for a lower price this summer.
Arsenal are reportedly leading the race for the former Coventry City man and it is claimed in Portugal that they have agreed personal terms over a five-year contract.
United are also admirers of the marksman due to manager Ruben Amorim, but a deal may not happen unless the club qualify for the Champions League next season.
The Red Devils must beat Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final to make the competition. Gyokeres has his sights on playing Champions League football.
