Manchester United are interested in signing two Brazilian stars during the summer transfer window, according to Calciomercato.it
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with Juventus’ Gleison Bremer in recent months and they are now prepared to step up their interest.
Bremer currently has a release clause worth €58m in his contract. United have informed Juventus that they are ready to trigger the clause.
A deal could be fairly straightforward, provided terms are agreed.
Aside from Bremer, United are also looking into a deal for Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes. They currently value him in the region of €40m.
Gary O’Neil’s side are likely to demand a slightly higher fee and it is claimed that it could take €100m to land the Brazilian duo.
Gomes could be seen as a replacement for Casemiro. The veteran star has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia during the summer.
United turned down €70m from a Saudi Pro League club for Casemiro last year. They are likely to accept offers for the midfielder this time.
