Manchester United could make an approach to land Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo, according to Fichajes.net.
The Red Devils have had a poor Premier League campaign and they are currently 13th in the standings with 23 points.
The club are likely to look at the possibility of new signings, but it is unlikely that they will spend big this winter.
Despite this, the hierarchy are working on future deals and they are interested in bringing Mbeumo to Old Trafford.
The Cameroon international has been in superb form for the Bees with 13 goals and four assists from 23 appearances.
Brentford are determined to keep hold of him this season, but they may not be able to do so beyond the current campaign.
United are aware of the player’s desire for a bigger challenge and they could make an offer worth £42 million for his services.
The Red Devils won’t be alone in the pursuit. They could face competition from Liverpool and Arsenal for the right winger.
