United handed double boost for Sunderland

Manchester United have been handed a double boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Sunderland at Old Trafford this weekend.

The Red Devils have picked up only seven points from their opening six matches and the pressure is on manager Ruben Amorim to turn things around.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, the club have received a double boost in terms of team news. Tyrell Malacia has finally returned to first-team training.

The Dutchman had been working with the development squad in the last few weeks and has now been deemed fit enough to link up with the senior side.

Alongside Malacia, Amad Diallo is back in the mix. The Ivorian star missed the previous game against Brentford due to a family bereavement.

Diogo Dalot started in his absence from the right wing-back role, but the Portuguese barely provided a threat in the final third for United.

Diallo would provide a better attacking presence. United must start on the front foot against the Black Cats and need an early goal to ease the nerves.
