Manchester United have been handed a huge boost in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
The Red Devils are exploring the transfer market for a marquee striker and it has been claimed that contact has been made with Osimhen’s agent.
The Nigerian star is open to moving to the Premier League and United have been handed a huge boost with Paris Saint-Germain out of the race.
Les Parisiens were hot on the trail of the 26-year-old earlier last year, but manager Luis Enrique is not convinced over the striker’s abilities.
As a result, the French champions won’t return for his services this summer. United could have a free run at signing the former Lille marksman.
Osimhen has netted 26 goals and provided four assists for Galatasaray on loan this campaign. He is expected to pursue a different outfit.
Galatasaray are open to negotiating a big-money transfer but Osimhen sees his future elsewhere. Napoli are set to demand £64m for him.
