Mainoo out of Brentford clash

Manchester United have been handed a huge injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Brentford at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have had a dismal start to the new campaign and they are presently lying 14th in the league with eight points.

The club face a must-win situation against the Bees at home on Saturday, considering they are already six points behind the top four.

Ahead of the game, United have confirmed that Kobbie Mainoo is nursing a muscle injury picked up before the international break.

The United graduate will be out of action for a few weeks as a result and won’t be available for the upcoming league contest.

Erik ten Hag is under immense pressure at the current point of time, considering the Red Devils are winless in the last five games.

The Dutchman needs to change the club’s fortunes over the next seven outings or he could be sacked in the next international break.
