Man Utd handed huge injury boost for Community Shield

Maguire fit to face Man City

Manchester United have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of the Community Shield meeting against Manchester City tomorrow.

The Red Devils have had plenty of injury concerns at the start of the campaign and they are already without Leny Yoro for three months.

Erik ten Hag revealed yesterday that Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw were doubtful to face the Cityzens.

However, they have received some good news with Maguire travelling with the squad to London for the Wembley showdown against City.

The news is a huge boost for the Red Devils who are short in central defence. Maguire will most likely partner Lisandro Martinez tomorrow.

Jonny Evans could provide the added support from the bench.

Meanwhile, Harry Amass looks set to make his senior debut at left-back while Jadon Sancho could lead the line in the Manchester derby.

Joshua Zirkzee only started training with the team on Monday and he could make his Red Devils debut off the bench at Wembley Stadium.
