Cunha fit to play again

Manchester United have been handed a massive injury boost ahead of the Premier League meeting against West Ham United on Thursday night.

The Red Devils ended a three-match winless streak with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on the road. They will be aiming for a second-straight win when the Hammers visit Old Trafford in midweek.

Ahead of the encounter, they have been handed a timely boost on the injury front with Matheus Cunha back in training. The Brazil international suffered a heavy knock to his head last month, and did not feature against Everton or Palace due to the concussion protocols.

However, the former Wolverhampton Wanderers man is now fully fit and expected to make the matchday squad against the Hammers. He could be drafted straight into the starting XI by manager Ruben Amorim.

Cunha could line up alongside Bryan Mbeumo in the attacking midfield department with Joshua Zirkzee upfront. Amad Diallo could move into the right wing-back slot, replacing Noussair Mazraoui.
