Manchester United have an ace card to sign Southampton wonderkid Tyler Dibling at the end of the campaign, according to Daily Mail.
The Red Devils were determined to land Geovany Quenda for manager Ruben Amorim, but he is on his way to Chelsea next year.
The club now need to find another right wing-back solution and it is claimed that Dibling could be moulded into one due to his defensive skills.
Dibling has been one of the bright spots for the Saints in a poor season and he is widely expected to leave as they prepare for relegation this term.
The Saints were looking for around £55m for his services earlier this year and they are likely to hold out for a similar price even after relegation.
United are keeping a close eye on the 19-year-old and they have an ace card up their sleeve with the presence of technical director Jason Wilcox.
Wilcox was previously Southampton‘s director of football and could play a huge role in bringing the teenager to Old Trafford later this year.
