Manchester United are unlikely to explore a summer sale for striker Rasmus Hojlund, as per journalist David Ornstein.
The Red Devils have had a poor Premier League campaign and they have picked up only 38 points from 32 matches.
The club need a better solution in the number nine role and there has been speculation that Hojlund could be offloaded.
However, Ornstein has dismissed that possibility by highlighting that Hojlund’s exit would provide much financial relief.
United only signed the Dane from Atalanta for £72m two years ago, and they still have plenty of staggered payments to make.
It does not make sense to cut their losses on the 22-year-old as of now, and he is expected to continue with the club next term.
Despite this, United could enter the transfer market for another striker. They are keen on landing Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap.
Delap can be signed for just £30m after Ipswich‘s top-flight relegation. That is widely expected to happen in the coming days.
