Manchester United have reportedly drawn up a three-man shortlist of potential replacements for Ruben Amorim amid their worrying recent form.
The Red Devils have 11 wins, three draws and 10 losses in 24 matches since Amorim’s arrival from Sporting CP and they are currently languishing down in 14th place in the Premier League table.

The sacking of Erik ten Hag in October has made very little impact and Amorim’s insistence on sticking with a 3-4-3 system has seen him heavily criticised over the past few months.
The new Red Devils boss even recently admitted that his side are “maybe the worst team in Man Utd history”, and questions over his future at Old Trafford have been raised following their penalty shootout defeat to Fulham in the FA Cup on Sunday.
Unai Emery and Xavi have both been linked with replacing Amorim at Man Utd, however INEOS have now shortlisted three fresh names amid their search for a possible new manager, according to a sensational report from Fichajes.

The Spanish outlet claim that Massimiliano Allegri, Julen Lopetegui and Joachim Low have all been sounded out as potential successors to Amorim at Old Trafford.
Allegri has been out of work since leaving Juventus last summer, Lopetegui was sacked by West Ham United in January, while Low stepped down from his post as Germany manager in 2021 and hasn’t coached at club level since 2004.
Despite this, Man Utd have reportedly identified the trio as potential replacements for Amorim.

What has Ruben Amorim said?
After Man Utd’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in February, Amorim was asked whether he was concerned about his future at the club. “I am not worried,” he told Match of the Day.
“I understand our fans, what the media think about it. I hate to lose, that feeling is the worst. The rest I am not thinking about. I am here to help my players.
“I understand my situation, my job, I am confident on my work and I just want to win games. The place in the table is my worry, I am not worried about me.”
