Man Utd keen on signing Bayern midfielder in January

Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Red Devils explored the transfer market for a new midfielder last summer, but they could not find a solution before the deadline.

They are expected to pursue one at the turn of the year, and reports claim that the hierarchy are weighing up a possible move for Pavlovic.

The club are monitoring his situation at the moment, and contact has been established with his representatives regarding a winter approach.

Bayern have not placed the German in the transfer market, but it is claimed that a package of around €60 million could urge them to sell.

The Bundesliga giants would ideally wait until the summer, and it remains to be seen whether United can persuade them to sell in January.

United are also keeping tabs on Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton, but the Englishman is unlikely to be allowed to leave until next summer.
