Man Utd now ready to offload 24yo winger – Fabrizio Romano

Manchester United are prepared to offload Antony during the ongoing transfer window, according to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The 24-year-old has been a fringe player for the Red Devils, and has been unable to cement a regular starting spot in the last 12 months.

His future has been speculated on many occasions and Romano claims that Antony could leave on either a temporary or permanent deal this winter.

Ruben Amorim has appreciated the qualities of the right-sided winger, but United are prepared to cash in on him at some point this year.

Antony has been offered to clubs in Spain and England. He could leave the Red Devils on a temporary deal before a possible summer sale.

Real Betis are reportedly one of the teams interested in signing him on loan, but United will need to cover most of the £150,000 weekly wages.

The La Liga outfit could make an approach for the former Ajax man as soon as Assane Diao joins Como in a permanent deal worth £9m.
