Man Utd offered chance to sign ex-Chelsea star

Manchester United have been offered the opportunity to land former Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek from AC Milan this winter.

Loftus-Cheek has been with the Rossoneri over the past few years, but he is contemplating a return to English football due to his inconsistent role.

The Blues graduate is no longer a guaranteed starter for the Rossoneri and this has reportedly urged him to consider a new challenge elsewhere.

United are one of the clubs that have been offered the chance to sign him, but the Mancunian giants are not looking into a deal, as things stand.

Aston Villa seem the more likely destination. The Villans are desperate for a new signing after missing out on Conor Gallagher to Tottenham Hotspur.

The West Midlands outfit are suffering a midfield injury crisis. John McGinn, Boubacar Kamara and Ross Barkley are on the sidelines.

Amadou Onana was likewise in the treatment room, but he recently returned to action during the 1-0 Europa League win at Fenerbahce.
