Milinkovic-Savic spent two years on the books at Man Utd a decade ago, but he never made a senior appearance for the Red Devils as he was still a teenager at the time.

Ten years on and La Stampa claim that United are seriously interested in re-signing Milinkovic-Savic, who is valued at €20 million by Torino.

Milinkovic-Savic to return to Man Utd?

The Serbia international has been a standout performer for Torino in Serie A in recent seasons.

Much like his famous brother Sergej Milinkovic-Savic now at Al-Hilal, Vanja has established himself as a very good player in the Italian top flight.

Vanja has been arguably the best goalkeeper in Serie A this season along with Roma’s Mile Svilar.

Standing at 6ft 8in, he has a giant presence and commanding nature in the area.

He has become best known this season for his incredible record from penalty kicks.

He has saved four of the five penalties he has faced in 2024-25, saving spotkicks from Christian Pulisic, Mateo Retegui, Santiago Castro and Mario Pasalic.

United are in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer due to the disastrous performances of Andre Onana, who has been put up for sale.

The Red Devils have been linked with a host of goalkeepers, including Zion Suzuki, Diogo Costa, Bart Verbruggen, Mike Maignan and Aaron Ramsdale.

Milinkovic-Savic is also generating interest from Man City, Chelsea and Napoli.

He has made over 150 appearances for Torino since joining from Lechia Gdansk in Poland in 2017, almost appearing on loan at SPAL and Ascoli.

Milinkovic-Savic has made 19 appearances for the Serbia national team, playing at the 2022 World Cup and also making the squad for Euro 2024 without appearing.
