Manchester United are ready to make a formal bid for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko if he is prepared to join the club, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils are searching for a new marksman this summer and have recently identified Sesko as a top target after failing to sign Liam Delap. Hugo Ekitike and Viktor Gyokeres.
Sesko is a striker with immense potential, but he is still undecided on what to do, considering Newcastle United are also pushing to land his signature.
United have now indicated to the player’s camp that they are ready to make an official bid for the striker, provided they are given the green light.
Sesko netted only 13 goals in the Bundesliga last season, but he has caught the eye with his terrific work rate, high pressing and long range shots.
If he can develop in the right path, he could become a world-class striker. The 22-year-old has been likened to Erling Haaland for his playing style.
