Man Utd ready to sell Antony for cut-price fee?

Manchester United are prepared to offload Antony following his short-term loan deal at Real Betis, according to The Telegraph.

The Red Devils have had a poor top-flight campaign and they have scored just 38 goals from 33 games into the season.

The club need upgrades in the final third. This could coincide with multiple players heading for the exit door this summer.

Antony was sent out on loan to Betis in January. He has had a good spell with nine goal contributions from 17 appearances.

United are ready to cut their losses on his return to the club.

Antony was purchased from Ajax for a staggering £85m three years ago, but he could be offloaded for as little as £30m.

United are optimistic of receiving a proposal close to that figure, considering the forward’s progress in La Liga.

Atletico Madrid are one of the clubs monitoring him and could make a genuine approach for his services in the summer.
