Manchester United are really interested in signing Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque amid transfer links with Chelsea.
The Red Devils brought in a marquee striker in Benjamin Sesko last summer, but they could reinvest in the department next year.
A mid-season deal appears unlikely on the cards, but the club could spend big on a new marksman based on possible summer exits.
Joshua Zirkzee is known to be pushing for a new challenge, and Roque could be seen as a replacement for the Netherlands star.
Roque endured a tough spell with Barcelona after arriving from Palmeiras, and he has since returned to his boyhood club.
The Brazilian has found form this campaign with 13 goals and three assists from 28 league games for the Sao Paulo outfit.
He could return to European football next year, and reports claim that United are most interested in landing his services.
Palmeiras could demand €50m for the striker’s signature. Chelsea are also keeping tabs, but are not contemplating an offer.
