Muani off to Juve on loan

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have missed out on signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani this winter.

The Frenchman has been tipped to leave PSG on loan in the past few days, and Juventus have now won the race for his signature.

The Bianconeri faced competition from United and Spurs, but Muani has decided to join the Turin giants on a temporary basis.

The news is a setback for both Premier League clubs. United are lacking a regular goalgetter up front with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee misfiring.

Dominic Solanke has been effective leading the line for Spurs, but manager Ange Postecoglou was aiming to add competition for places.

Muani’s arrival at the Bianconeri could coincide with the possible sale of Dusan Vlahovic, who has less than 18 months left in his deal.

The Serbian has been linked with United and Spurs in the past and it remains to be seen whether the pair make an approach for him.
