Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is very interested in joining Napoli on loan during the January transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The England international was keen on leaving the Red Devils on loan last summer, but the hierarchy made it clear that they would not grant his wish.
Mainoo has since struggled for playing time under manager Ruben Amorim and he has failed to make the starting XI in the Premier League thus far.
Romano now reports that Mainoo is very interested in making the switch to Napoli on a straight-loan when the transfer window reopens in January.
Mainoo obviously believes he has a future with the Red Devils, but he is desperate for playing time with the World Cup coming up next summer.
The United graduate is out of the picture for selection at the moment but things could change with a regular starting role at another club next year.
Napoli are open to securing a temporary move for his services.
