Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson as a replacement for Casemiro next summer.
The Red Devils are determined to bolster their holding midfield department next year and have identified Anderson as their prime target, as per The Times.
Anderson has developed leaps and bounds during his 18 months at Forest and reports claim that United are prepared to step up their pursuit at the end of the season.
Forest are aware of the increasing interest in the 23-year-old and they are expected to demand at least £100 million to part ways with the Newcastle United graduate.
United see him as a direct replacement for Casemiro whose contract expires next summer. There is an option for another year, but the club have no plans to trigger it.
A number of Saudi Pro League clubs are monitoring Casemiro and are prepared to offer him a big payday in the Middle East for the final phase of his career.
