Manchester United reportedly have their sights on landing Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller before the transfer deadline tomorrow.
The Red Devils are desperate to bolster the defensive midfield department and they are exploring different options before the window closes.
Stiller has emerged as a potential target in the last few hours, but a deal could be difficult to pull off with Stuttgart determined to keep hold of him.
The Bundesliga outfit recently sanctioned the big-money sale of Nick Woltemade to Newcastle United. They have secured around €80m.
As a result, they are in a strong financial position for the campaign, and have no reason to contemplate another marquee exit this summer.
Real Madrid are also keen on landing Stiller, but both them and United may have to wait until the end of the campaign to prise him away.
Stiller has not asked to leave Stuttgart this summer and he is prepared to stay put for the 2025/26 season before assessing his options.
