Manchester United could enter the transfer market for a new goalkeeper next year, according to The Sun.
The Red Devils were keen on landing Aston Villa shot-stopper Emiliano Martinez over the summer, but could not agree on personal terms with him.
As a result, they opted to sign Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp instead. The 23-year-old has yet to make an appearance for the Mancunian giants.
Altay Bayindir has been the regular starter in the Premier League this campaign, but there could be another recruit for the number one position.
Instead of trusting Lammens, the Red Devils could enter the transfer market for a more experienced signing at some point of time next year.
Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa has been linked with the club many times in the past. He could be a possible solution for manager Ruben Amorim.
Gianluigi Donnarumma was heavily linked earlier this summer, but he ended up signing for Manchester City from Paris Saint-Germain.
