Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown at the end of the campaign.
The Red Devils presently have Patrick Dorgu and Diogo Dalot for the left wing-back role, but neither has impressed thus far.
United boss Ruben Amorim has been quite vocal with his criticism of the duo and a new solution could be targeted when the season ends.
Sky Germany claim that United are monitoring Brown and could battle it out with Madrid and Barcelona for his services next summer.
Frankfurt expect the 22-year-old to pursue a new challenge in the summer, but they are expected to hold out for at least 60 million euros.
It will be interesting to see whether the Red Devils make such a huge outlay on the defender, given they need to bolster other positions too.
The club are planning to target a new centre-back, a defensive midfielder and a playmaker during the 2026 summer transfer window.
