Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Sevilla midfielder Lucien Agoume during the January transfer window.
The Red Devils were keen on bolstering their midfield department earlier this summer and they were linked with several names before the deadline.
The club were priced out of a move for Brighton‘s Carlos Baleba. They made a loan move for Conor Gallagher on deadline day, but Atletico rejected it.
It is now reported that the Mancunian giants are interested in landing the signature of Agoume, who has been subbed as the next N’Golo Kante.
The 23-year-old has a tenacious work rate and likes to make recoveries. He has also excelled with his duel-winning ability and tackling skills.
Fichajes claim that United are planning a formal bid for the Frenchman at the turn of the year and are willing to meet the £26 million price tag.
The Red Devils could face competition from Arsenal, who have been closely monitoring the France youth international in recent months.
