Manchester United could pursue a deal for Levante striker Etta Eyong when the transfer window reopens at the beginning of next year.

The Red Devils added quality upfront with the signing of Benjamin Sesko last summer. He has made an instant impact with a couple of goals.

Joshua Zirkzee is the immediate deputy for the role at the moment, but the Dutchman is determined to leave in January for regular starts.

Everton and West Ham United are in the picture to land his signature and there is a possibility that he could be sold permanently as well.

Amidst this, it is claimed that they are keeping tabs on Eyong, who has been brilliant in the Spanish top-flight after Levante’s promotion.

The Cameroonian has bagged five goals and three assists from eight appearances and this has triggered widespread interest in him.

United are one of his admirers and they could seek to bring him him as a replacement for Zirkzee during the January transfer window.
