Following initial reports linking Manchester City with Omar Marmoush, it appears that the Premier League side have stepped up their interest in the Eintracht Frankfurt striker.
According to Sky Germany, talks between Manchester City and Marmoush and his representatives are at an advanced stage, with the English champions offering the player a long-term contract until 2029 or 2030.
However, Manchester City are yet to open talks with Eintracht Frankfurt, with a fee in the region of €50-60 million thought to be enough to prize Marmoush away from the Deutsche Bank Park.
“What I can promise the fans is that I will give my all for Eintracht in every game. I’m not thinking about a transfer. I’m living in the here and now and enjoying my time in Frankfurt,” he said.
Marmoush, 25, joined Eintracht on a free transfer from Wolfsburg in 2023.
He has racked up 18 goals and 12 assists in 24 matches in all competitions this season.
