Rolando Mandragora is expected to leave Fiorentina this summer, with interest above all from Bologna and Spanish side Real Betis.

The midfielder is only under contract until June 2026, although there is an option to extend if he participates in at least 50 per cent of their games in the next season.

He turned 28 yesterday and was a product of the Genoa youth academy, going through Pescara, Juventus, Crotone, Udinese and Torino before the sale to Fiorentina in 2022.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, there is interest from Real Betis for what would be his first experience abroad.

However, Bologna are by far the likeliest destination for Mandragora, because he would reunite with former Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano.

They had been eager to work together again last summer when Italiano left for the Stadio Dall’Ara, but it was not possible at that time.

Mandragora made 43 competitive appearances this season for the Viola, scoring nine goals with six assists.
