Marcus Rashford concedes he is ready to LEAVE Man United for a ‘new challenge’ in bombshell interview, but insists he won’t make a ‘bad situation worse’ as he breaks silence on derby axe

Marcus Rashford has admitted he is ready to leave Manchester United after two decades.

He joined the club aged seven and made his debut in 2016 but has endured a complicated past 18 months.

In a remarkably candid interview with Henry Winter, the 27-year-old conceded he wants a ‘new challenge’ and spoke about leaving as a ‘when’, not an ‘if’.

‘For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps,’ he said.

‘When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.

‘If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse. I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me.’

Winter asked if he would always be a Red at heart. ‘Yes! 100%. 100%,’ came the reply.
