Kylian Mbappe’s legal team have reportedly contacted UEFA as the Frenchman chases €55 million in unpaid wages from Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe, 25, left the Ligue 1 giants to join Real Madrid on a free transfer earlier this summer, and he believes he is owed a significant sum of money by his former employers.
According to French outlet Le Monde, Mbappe’s lawyers have contacted both the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) and UEFA – European football’s governing body – in order to help resolve the matter.

As per the report, Mbappe claims he is yet to receive the last payment of a €36 million signing-on bonus, the final three months of his PSG salary and an ‘ethics bonus’ for the period of April-June 2024.
Although there has been no update on whether PSG will decide to pay Mbappe, the consequences could be severe for Luis Enrique’s side.
The LFP reportedly has the ability to sanction a transfer ban on the Parisians, while UEFA are able to withdraw PSG’s club licence, meaning they could potentially be banned from taking part in this season’s Champions League if the matter isn’t resolved soon.

Mbappe made his competitive Real Madrid debut against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup final last week.
The France international scored Los Blancos’ second goal in a 2-0 win as he claimed his first trophy as a Real Madrid player.
His LaLiga debut came against Mallorca on Sunday evening, but Mbappe was unable to score his first goal in the competition as Real Madrid were held to a shock 1-1 draw.
The 25-year-old signed a five-year contract with the Spanish giants upon his arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu at the start of July, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) now stands at a staggering €153.7m.
